Wine Review: Barefoot Sweet Red Blend is a juicy red wine packed with dark fruit. Rich bands of raspberry, cherry and pomegranate blend together, leading to a smooth, luscious finish.
Wine Folly: Several regions within Sonoma and Napa are famous for Zinfandel including Rockpile, Dry Creek Valley, Chiles Valley, and Howell Mountain. Wines here offer bold tannins, colors, and rustic flavors thanks to the region’s volcanic soils (p. 190).
My Review: This wine was a nice cheap treat. It was very sweet and had a thick mouthfeel. I tasted some strawberry and some caramel flavor as well. I tasted other berries but I couldn't put a name to them. I did not have this wine with any food. (1/5)
