Wine Review: Deep purple color. Aromas and flavors of strawberry licorice, fennel, balsamic vinegar, and garrigue with a velvety, vibrant, dry medium-to-full body and a warming, elegant, medium-long finish manifesting notes of red and black fruit with tart red fruits, thyme, sage and rosemary and polished saddle leather with a suggestion of oak flavor. A straightforward, balanced, and reliable Rhone blend for easy food pairings.
Wine Folly: Grenache produces rich, flavorful red wines as well as deep ruby-tinted rosé. Grenache is the most important variety in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and the Rhône / GSM Blend (p. 117).
My Review: This wine was very disappointing. It smelled very off and alcoholic and very big olive tatste. I tried to enjoy the wine and was able to taste some berry. Overall this wine was very vinigeray and unpleasent (0/5)
