Wine Review: Deep in color with aromas of black currant and rich black cherry that elegantly interlace with subtle oak spice.
Wine Folly: The high acidity allows Sangiovese to match well with all manner of well-spiced foods. It’s one of the few wines that will not get lost when paired with tomato sauce (p. 162).
My Review: This was an amazing wine. It was dry and very fruity/juicy. I tasted strawberry, and a hay/ tobacco smokey taste. I also tasted vegetative and some other berry. I also think I tasted raisin. The wine also had an amazing spice taste. This paired perfectly with my pasta. My pasta was pesto and spicy mix and the spices of both paired so well. This was the best wine I have purchased so far (4/5).
